Reviews
Wes Babcock, New Ottawa Critics: “ought to be the sleeper success of the Fringe this year; it’s refreshingly quiet, and it sure is beautiful.”
Julia Bueneman, Apartment 613: “Heartwarming, heart-wrenching, adorable and charming”
“A spectacular show, this should absolutely be on everyone’s Fringe list.”
“I laughed, I teared up, and I walked away with a lump in my throat: overall, one of my favourite shows.”
Dave Currie, Apartment 613: “The script for Rideshares and Rope Swings is a brilliant work; well balanced, and sincere. Matt’s honest writing explores what is inbetween intimacy and death. The jokes land, the drama pushes the audience further and further into the theme. The play is simply a delight to watch.”
“An hour of excellence on stage at Ottawa Fringe.”
Ian Huffam, New Ottawa Critics: “the promising Fringe debut from Two Kind Boys, and if their narrative skills and playful stagecraft is any indication, we should expect more pleasing shows like this one to come.”
Joseph Hutt, On Stage Ottawa: “The chemistry between their two characters, the nervous and quirky Reid (Hertendy) and the cool-headed and worldly Genevieve (Towne), is perfect.”
